Kings Meadow School is located on the edge of Moulton village in an area known as Moulton Leys. It is a Local Education Authority special school which caters for primary aged children (5-11 years), whose emotional and behavioural difficulties have prevented their educational needs being met in a mainstream school.

All pupils who are admitted to Kings Meadow School have had a multi-disciplinary assessment under the requirements of the 1996 Education Act and are the subject of a ‘Statement of Special Educational Need’ issued by the Local Educational Authority.

AIMS AND VISIONS: At Kings Meadow School we are committed to working in partnership with parents / carers, other agencies and the wider community towards achieving our vision which is to create both; a learning community where pupils have the right to learn and grow intellectually, emotionally and socially in a nurturing environment and a school where all pupils are encouraged to achieve their greatest potential.

In order to achieve this vision we believe that all pupils should:
A) Feel safe in a caring environment, which through an ethos of support, challenge and encouragement recognises, celebrates and builds on success.

B) Have equal opportunity to enjoy a high quality education that meets their academic, creative, emotional, physical and spiritual needs
